Silk Flowers (Red Anemones)

Today's flower display is one of the prettiest little pots you could hope for if you only wanted to spend £5 or £6 on a particular silk flower.

There are no real plants used in my display but you could easily add a few sprigs of holly in with your silk flowers to give your displays that seasonal twist.

Using only four items, this arrangement is simple to do and if you wanted to create your own, you will need:

Lella Loves... Silk Flowers

9 silk flowers - I have used red anemones which were 59p each in Dunelm.

Lella Loves... Everlasting Greenery

3 stems of a good, leafy, everlasting greenery.

Lella Loves... Old Flower Pots

Victorian plant pot and some pebbles.

Lella Loves... Silk Flowers

Arrange your greenery in a triangle.

Add in your anemones starting with just one in the centre of the triangle.

Arrange all the remaining flowers around the edge. There should be two or three in between each section of greenery to give a full display.

This is the finished planter and it is small enough to sit on the hallway table or in a guest room. Have fun with silk flowers and don't be afraid to mix and blend with real plants if you are not sure of buying all fake.

These anemones would look fabulous with variegated ivy cuttings for Christmas Day.

Let me know your thoughts and feel free to leave me a comment. Are you a fan of silk flowers?
