Storage (String)

I found this rusty crown pot at a table-top sale a few years ago. As there are no rules to decorating, when string came to mind, I knew I had found the perfect pot when I saw it. It's metal and it's tatty but I love it :)

It is very heavy and it might well have been forged as a candle holder but it only cost me 50p and my household string has sat in it since the day I brought it home.

String is something we all use and there is nothing worse than trying to unravel it. I can say that an unruly ball or two has ended up entwined with shoe laces, old paint brushes and spare pegs under the kitchen sink before.

Not any more!

  1. That crown pot is just beautiful and I love the idea of using to hold the string! :-)
