Scarf Charms (Necklaces)

This is such a simple but effective way to liven up a scarf. Previously, I have shown you how to take an old charm pendant and thread it on to a slimline plain scarf.

By using a beaded necklace with a pendant already attached, here is another way to enjoy the upcoming trend of scarf charms. I am predicting big things for our scarves.  :)

Here is what you need to do:

Take your beaded necklace and lay it out so it is not twisted.

Feed the necklace through the pendant loop twice like so:

Secure the fastener.

Fold your scarf in half and feed the loop end through the beaded necklace.

Now take the ends of your scarf and feed them back through the scarf's loop.

You should end up with a beaded necklace and pendant looking like this on your scarf. The way to wear this look would be to put the scarf up to your neck and bring the ends back around so they hang down.

Here is another pendant which is fixed to a suede, cord and beads necklace. This has a great look to it if you combine a huge circular 'penny' pendant with a polka dot scarf.

Close the necklace's clasp and simply loop the thongs twice so it looks like this:

Take a floaty cotton polka dot scarf, thread the looped necklace on and slide it to the middle point of the scarf.

Fabulous!

If you wanted to copy this look, keep an eye on the jewellery rails in charity shops as pendants can be found for 50p or a £1. All you need is a lovely scarf and a pretty pendant necklace which can be looped.

Whilst I choose certain pendants and necklaces with a specific scarf in mind, you should play with your own look. Style is subjective so enjoy trying out new colours or picking out patterns. Be creative. If you love it, that is all that matters.

I hope you enjoyed reading my blog today and if so, please feel free to leave a comment.
